Explore the realms of visual art, music, and electronic art under our expert guidance. Plus, enjoy a nourishing after-school snack! IMPACT ARTS meets every Wednesday from September 4-April 30, from 3:30 -5:30 pm. Best of all, it's free for students, but registration is required.

Curriculum
IMPACT! Arts Unit 1 curriculum is painting, building and playing ukeleles. We have a guest instructor, Rebecca Hamper, bringing her ukelele skills to teach the participants a fun and easy song to get them started on diving into a new music skill set while still playing to our groups love of painting and drawing.
IMPACT! Arts Unit 2 curriculum is returning to painting and drawing while incorporating the use of AI. We will collaborate to create a collection the depicts the Creation Story found in Genesis. Participants will have an assortment of supplies to choose from including, paints, clay, pastels, paint pens, colored pencils and canvases of different sizes to let their imaginations go wild.

Program Director: Pastor Nick Savage
Over the last decade St. Louis, MO native Nick Savage has spread his musical talents throughout the world. Nick has shared the stage with performers such as, 2006 Tony award winner Beth Leavel, 2002 American Idol runner-up Justin Guarini, John Scofield, Joshua Redman, Lou Donaldson, Lonnie Smith, Jeff Coffin, Victor Goines, Joe Lavano, Stikyard, and more.
Nick received his Bachelors of Arts and Masters of Music in Jazz Performance from Webster University.

Our staff are concerned about each child and strive to provide safe and fun experiences for all. We encourage children to participate, develop ideas, and most of all, have fun! All staff have criminal background checks and have participated in Safe Gatherings training.
The Northeast District Mission Council of the United Methodist Church granted funding to IMPACT ARTS, which will exclusively support the IMPACT ARTS program with all its proceeds.
