Mission Nutrition
Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer with your family or friends? Come prepare a meal at Salem’s kitchen for the youth at Epworth’s Drop In Center. This opportunity previously had a minimum age requirement however, it is now available to all ages and closer to home. Bring your family, friends, kids or teens to help cook for one day or schedule a couple of times to serve. For more details contact Amy Milton or the church office.

Single event or occasional service opportunities for volunteers 21 yrs and older. May be done individually or in a group. Examples include:
Salem Serve Day at Epworth
Clothing distribution days (Webster Groves)
On-Campus activities: meals, career days, game days
Provide birthday cards, gift cards, hygiene kits, socks, underwear
Decorate, paint, clean, yard work
Vegetable gardening
Service opportunities are for volunteers desiring to build a helping relationship with Epworth youth or the agency. Must be 21 yrs or older. [Background checks may be required.] Examples include:

Adopt-a-residences: activities/snacks/celebrations

Thousands of individuals turn to Epworth each year for foster care case management, residential and intensive treatment, psychological evaluation, in-home family therapy, emergency shelter services, transitional and independent living, homeless youth outreach, drop-in center and clinical services, life skills and vocational training, and a 24-hour crisis help-line. Epworth is headquartered at 110 N. Elm Ave. in Webster Groves and has offices in Normandy, University City, and South St. Louis City. In addition Epworth also supports Intrada, a program that assists youth that have aged out of the foster care system by providing affordable, subsidized housing and wrap-around services such as life skills training and employment assistance with the goal of advancing youth toward self-sufficiency.
